About
Hakata Life is an independent product-review site. We research and compare GLP-1 telehealth programs, weight-loss supplements, CBD and botanical products, and everyday wellness gear, then publish what we find — the good parts and the annoying parts.
What we actually do
Most of our work is unglamorous: reading pricing pages line by line, comparing per-dose and per-serving math across brands, digging through refund policies, checking lab-report links that brands publish (or quietly don’t), and tracking how offers change over time. Where it’s practical, we order products and document the experience — how long shipping took, what the packaging looked like, whether cancellation was as easy as promised.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the brand pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. This is how the site stays running, and we disclose it plainly on every page it applies to — see our Affiliate Disclosure. Commissions never decide a verdict: several brands we link to earn less per sale than brands we’ve criticized, and some brands we cover pay us nothing at all.
What we are not
We are not doctors, and nothing here is medical advice. We review products as consumers: pricing, transparency, service, and whether a company does what it says. Decisions about medication, supplements, or treatment belong with you and a licensed clinician — please read our Medical Disclaimer.
Mistakes and corrections
Prices change, product lines get reformulated, and sometimes we get things wrong. When a reader or brand points out an error, we check it and correct the article, and we note significant updates in the text. Spotted something off? Email us at contact@hakatalifes.com — corrections genuinely help.
Who runs this
Hakata Life is run by a small independent editorial team. We keep the operation lean on purpose: no sponsored posts, no pay-for-placement, no “brands of the month” packages. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.
